Dropouts

While our hubs have legendary holding power, there are cases where a rear single speed hub can slip in a slotted dropout. This leads to a slackened chain which in turn leads to throwing the chain, or worse, jamming it between tire and chainstay. Our new, steel, single-speed dropouts remove any and all fear of this happening. After installing your rear wheel you turn the knurled screw end until the screw head contacts the hub axle. Tighten down the lock nut and behold. That hub ain't goin' nowhere. If you are a frame builder, or are having a builder convert a steel frame to horizontal dropouts, give us a call.
