Santa Cruz

At one point I said I would only ride full suspension. Then a good number of years later I said I would never ride one. My friend Willy at Santa Cruz (S.C. warrentee guy, artist, and good guy) hooked me up with this sweet super ugly Superlite. I wanted to test the Melvin on a cross country duelie with three front chain rings. So far so good. That's not a rear derailleur it's a Melvin.

It works fine. The Melvin may or may not work on other full suspension frames, but it works on this one. If you ask we will say not recommended, but it does work on the Superlite with three front chainrings with a no greater then a 20 tooth difference.

Dropbars just because. It is totally differnt experience and one I like. It takes a few rides to get into the groove. These are Nitto 48cm Noodle bars.
