This 30th Anniversary Box Set literally took us all year. Every time we thought of something special and unique to add to the project, we said “Let’s do it!”.

First, we anodized all the parts and commemorative bottle openers in a super limited alternating Royal Purple/Smoky Pewter colorway. Then, we engraved each part with a number “30”.

Finally, we decided they should come in a CNC engraved and individually numbered wooden box with brass hinges and hardware. This meant the boxes started their journey as planks of wood in Paul’s woodshop at his house, each one getting milled square and the edges corner rounded.

Then Paul brought them to our machine shop, where Jim had to adapt one of our Sharp CNC’s for the task of cutting out the pockets for the parts and pamphlet to sit in, as well as engraving the PAUL logo on the lid, and individually numbering each box. That meant installing a Shop-Vac and a shower-curtain into the CNC machine, to avoid sawdust contamination of what would normally be a coolant/metal-chip environment.

Once the milling and machining was complete, the boxes went back to Paul’s woodshop where he personally sanded and finished them all, then he brought them back to the machine shop to install the hinges, load them up with the bike parts, and send them off to YOU!

There are only 30 of these box-sets available, and there are no substitutions to the parts inside. Please remember to include your preferred Seat Collar size in the notes section when you place your order. This is measured on your frame, not the seatpost. Available diameters to choose from are: 30.0, 31.8, 33.1, or 35.0.

OK, maybe we went overboard on this project a little bit, and sunk way too much time into it. But we were so stoked to reach the 30-Year mark, we just had to do something really special to commemorate it. We hope you like it!
