Product Story

IS mounts are the type with the mounting screws that install horizontally. We make them in +0, +20 and +40. To figure out what size adapter you need, you’ll have to check and see what size rotor your frame and/or fork were designed for. For example: if your fork was designed to fit a 160mm rotor and you want to run a 180mm rotor, that is a difference of 20mm, and that’s the adapter you would need. Another example would be a frame that was designed to fit a 140mm rotor, where you want to run a 160mm rotor: you would also need a 20mm adapter.

Please don’t call us asking what size adapter you need, we just don’t know what rotor diameter every frame and fork out there were designed for, so you’ll have better luck asking the frame manufacturer themselves, or your local friendly bike shop.

The post mount version works the same as IS, except the caliper mounts to frame or fork directly through the caliper holes, instead of at a 90^ angle.

Chico is a fun and easy city to bike commute in. I Chico is a fun and easy city to bike commute in. It’s totally flat, there are plenty of bike lanes and neighborhood routes with little to no traffic, it doesn’t take more than half an hour to get from the farthest edge to the opposite edge of town, and in our case here at PAUL World Headquarters, there’s even an old railway converted to a bike path leading right up to our back gate. 🚂🚴Congratulations to @myles56k on winning our Ride2Work Challenge for the last two years! He might have some competition from @jxrad this year though…should we start taking bets?
