FHub

This front hub with a funny name does everything a reliable, serviceable, lightweight front hub should do and more. It spins very smoothly due to specially machined bearing bores and high quality precision sealed cartridge bearings. The axle is turned from high-strength 7075 aluminum, and is available in bolt-on and quick-release versions. Machined here in Chico, California to last a lifetime.

This lightweight hub spins very smoothly due to its extremely high tolerance machined bearing bores (.0002″, that’s 8 times thinner than the thickness of a human hair!) and high quality user-adjustable sealed cartridge bearings. The hub shell design has been refined over years of production and real world abuse to be as light as possible while still withstanding the abuse that the biggest, most reckless riders can put it through.

The real star of the show might be the super-stiff, super-light, flex-free, interchangeable 7075 Alloy axle. Available in 2 configurations: Quick-Release and Bolt-On, it passes from dropout to dropout. We stock the FHUB in 28, 32 and 36 hole spoke counts.

Fresh bearings and axle conversion kits are available for hub overhauls and rebuilds in the Hub Service Parts section.

Made with pride in Chico, California.

Did you know we chamfer the back of every spoke ho Did you know we chamfer the back of every spoke hole of every hub we make, by hand? This (along with our canted flanges) reduces stress on the head and elbow of the spoke, and is one of many details that make these high flange hubs a ⚡️CULT CLASSIC⚡️.
