Product Story

The Tall & Handsome has a generous setback of 26mm. If you don’t like setback in your seatpost this might not be for you, but if you ride a Brooks saddle that you can’t get quite far enough back, you’ll love this seatpost.

The shaft is precision ground in-house and the head is machined separately before being screwed and permanently bonded into the shaft.

The two bolts sit on spherical stainless steel washers that allow them to pivot and self-align to the cradle. The clamp can be adjusted to tilt the saddle’s nose up or down with a range of roughly 15 degrees overall. Precise micro angle adjustments are made by loosening one screw and tightening the other. This also allows the use of oval carbon-railed saddles.

Fore and aft position is adjusted by loosening both screws an equal amount and moving the saddle. Because we use two screws, slippage is completely eliminated.

As with all aluminum seatposts, it’s a good idea to periodically pull the post out of the frame, clean it, apply a thick coat of grease inside the seat-tube of the frame, and re-install. This keeps your post/frame from corroding and seizing, which could make it very difficult to remove years down the road.

Introducing the BËP. It’s just a handlebar plug Introducing the BËP. It’s just a handlebar plug, right? Sure, but when the machinist bike nerds at PAUL start
designing, prototyping, (obsessing), and testing a project, even a simple bar plug can end up at
NASA-level standards of tolerance, function, and reliability.
We think we’ve arrived at the highest quality handlebar plugs in the world. Cheap rubber and
plastic construction were never good enough. 100% CNC machined aluminum expanding-
wedge construction means that once tightened properly, they’re NEVER falling out or coming
loose.

New bike camping froggy shirts and they are SUPER New bike camping froggy shirts and they are SUPER soft high quality US made 100% cotton, garment-dyed using a vintage pigment-dye process, then printed using a water based ink, so even the the ink itself has a soft touch and is breathable. So stoked on this artwork by @hurrydive and this might be the nicest t-shirt we’ve ever used. 🤌
Since we’re bringing back framebuilding parts, w Since we’re bringing back framebuilding parts, we figured we may as well make another batch of Permanent Pivots. These elegant CNC machined stainless steel brake bosses allow you to remove the pivots from any PAUL rim brakes, and mount your brakes directly to the boss for a super clean, simple aesthetic. These have been very popular when framebuilders are designing a bike around Racer and Racer-M brakes, which would be locked into PAUL brakes anyways, but you can also use them for any of our Canti and V brakes. It’s been many years since we’ve offered these It’s been many years since we’ve offered these single-speed/track dropouts, but we now have a limited run of 100 pairs available for those of you building 10mm axle singlespeed/track frames. The knurled self-nesting adjusters and locknuts make it super easy to center your wheel and dial in chain tension, then put the wheel right back where it belongs after re-installing it.
