SRAM Thumbies

Miss thumb shifters? Converting a drop bar bike to flat bars? These easily transform bar-end (aka “barcon” or “TT”) SRAM shifters into thumb-shifters. The shifters are not included, but are readily available in 10 and 11-speed versions. These mounts are not compatible with “R2C” (Return To Center) SRAM shifters. Precision machined with pride in Chico, California.

Product Story

Thumbies bring back the thumb shifting of old, and we think they make shifting more precise and smoother. These feel much better in our opinion than trigger or twist shifters.

Thumbies have a hinged clamp for easy installation that fit all flat bars, MTB risers and city bars with a diameter of 22.2mm (equivalent to 7/8 inches). Diameter is measured at the end of the bar where grips and brake levers attach.
The clamp is raised up to give clearance for hydraulic brake levers and has a shifter mounting boss that fits SRAM 10/11-Speed Bar-End shifters. All necessary mounting hardware is included.

To that end, we will be offering free booth space to all builders for the inaugural 2023 year.”

Registration for the 2023 show will open in the Fall of 2022. In a new model, framebuilders will be provided booth space to offset the cost of exhibiting and make attending as easy as possible. In addition, MADE sponsor BikeFlights plans to offset and subsidize shipping of bikes for all exhibiting framebuilders.”
